25 students and loads of parents!
This was the first workshop in a series of school workshops that will take over two weeks to complete. As the name suggests, these kids don't go to a normal school - they live so remote all schooling is done online. These families get together twice a year in Geraldton to connect, have meetings, meet with teachers and basically socialise. Luckily our workshops happened to be right in the middle of their bi-annual visit - so Rachel and I decided these kids just had to be involved - and we're so glad they were. The project was Bodacious Bugs and there were certainly some very bodacious bugs created in this lot. The parents joined in - kids had a blast and we had a fantastic time watching them all become totally enthralled in this magical medium - polymer clay.
